In many applications, it is important for an inverter to be lightweight and of a relatively small size. This can be achieved by using a High-Frequency Inverter that involves an isolated DC-DC stage (Voltage Fed Push-Pull/Full Bridge) and the DC-AC section, which provides the AC output.
The power supply topologies suitable for the High-Frequency Inverter includes push-pull, half-bridge and the full-bridge converter as the core operation occurs in both the quadrants, thereby, increasing the power handling capability to twice of that of the converters operating in single quadrant (forward and flyback converter).
That is, after the completion of secondary frequency control, each VSG assumes a load power of 25 kW, and the output of the three VSGs is consistent. The effectiveness of the improved secondary frequency control strategy for multiple VSGs in parallel is verified.
In, a flexible VSG control strategy with adaptive inertia coefficient is proposed, which can adaptively adjust the rotor inertia with the rate of change of frequency and improve the response characteristics of secondary frequency control, but the change of the rotor inertia will affect other characteristics of the system.
