Combined operational and cost allocation models for shared energy storage-assisted power generation systems Here, the power generation system comprises a collection of renewable energy power stations (n = 1, 2, …, n, …, N), specifically wind power plants and photovoltaic power plants, which are connected to a shared energy storage power station.
To enhance the use of the shared energy storage services across multiple renewable energy power stations and allocate the associated costs effectively, three different allocation methods are initially formulated, which include the uniform allocation method, the predictive weighted allocation method, and the dynamic weighted allocation method.
Moreover, the shared energy storage power station is generally discharged from 11:00 to 17:00 to meet the electricity demand of the entire power generation system. In Case I, the state-of-charge gradually increases in the morning, fluctuates between 08:00 and 22:00, and returns to its initial level by 24:00.
