Furthermore, techniques, such as fault tree analysis and Bayesian networks, have been employed to document a number of system parameters to determine the probability of system failure.
When simulation and subsequent analysis expanded, various models for performance estimation were developed. A Boolean truth table approach was proposed to calculate the failure rates and the mean time between failures of a system . Similarly, probability trees were introduced as a method for monitoring the performance of UPS systems .
The studied parameters are mapped to the runtime of a UPS system. Furthermore, the collected parametric data is utilized to assess chronological variations in UPS system runtime to provide information related to performance and the scope of future failures.
Regarding AC power electronics-based systems, research has been conducted on harmonic stability analysis, vul-nerability analysis, simulation of the power load in data centers, and power quality enhancement . Previous studies utilized various tools such as graph theory and software such as MATLAB for analysis and design.
The present research work expounded on the vital role of mathematical and statistical techniques in monitoring the runtime of a power system. It delved into the intricate relationship between the runtime of a system and various parameters, such as temperature, current, voltage, power, and energy, by employing diverse individual regression models.
As the demands for a reliable power supply and electricity continue to grow, power generation units have increased their production capacities. The power transmission infrastructure, including substations, transmission lines, and distribution lines, are also being regularly used, which results in significant stress.
